The student kitchen refurbishment at the University of East Anglia (UEA) focused on creating practical, hard-wearing spaces that work for the demands of everyday student life. With functionality at the heart of the project, the aim was to make the kitchens welcoming, efficient and easy to use, while making the most of the available space.
Student accommodation kitchens need to work hard. From food preparation and storage to shared dining and socialising, every element needs to balance durability with thoughtful design. Getting that balance right is key to creating spaces that are both practical and comfortable to use.
The UEA project reflects Elm Core Interiors' understanding of the different demands of commercial and educational environments, bringing a practical approach, quality workmanship and careful attention to detail to a refurbishment where everyday functionality really matters.
